Below are photographs taken by Cleve Nash on August 27, 2005. The peregrine in the photos is Esteban, the east side tiercel. He suffered some sort of eye injury or ailment that was first noted approximately two weeks previously.

Below are images taken on September 9, 2005. The eye is looking considerably better. Esteban isn't scratching at it as much (if at all) as he was the day the above photos were taken. (An interesting little tidbit from Cleve - it is 221 yards from the parking lot to the dome above last year's aerie where Esteban was sitting for these photos.)
